We are under construction. All ingredients, prices, stuff for sale, memberships, etc. will likely evolve, including decreasing prices where possible. Please be patient while DirtBag Brewing Supply gets established. Delivery available soon, presuming a store front doesn’t happen first. Please email if you are interested in being contacted when deliveries start.

Nothing you want, everything you need.

Building exterior in Toronto, Canada

Our Philosophy.

We really don’t want to take life too seriously, but the reduction of customer service in exchange for corporate profit is one of the things we do, and so we are trying to avoid outrageous surcharges, frills, and gimmicks because we are all being nickel-and-dimed. DirtBag Brewing Supply was started with the idea that home grown, family-style businesses can still exist – and flourish! We want to avoid huge mark-ups, card fees, and the absenteeism of online businesses. We want to build personal relationships, even through the initials stages of delivery-only service, and want to grow into that small shop where customers can run tabs because trust is inherent to who we all are. Yes, we will have point of sale systems so you can bay with a card, but you can also pay with cash or check. Home brewing is often about the simple pleasures, like reading a book or hanging out with friends while your wort gently rolls. Purchasing your ingredients should be exactly the same!

A passion for home brewing.

We just don’t take life, or ourselves, too seriously!

Ingredients

Quality malt, hops, and yeast at the best prices we can afford.

Brewing Equipment

Basic brewing equipment to get started, move to all-grain, or to save your butt when you break a hydrometer. (You know you will!) We even rent equipment.

Become a DirtBag!

Becoming a member gets you discounts, first word on new products, and after hours access (access once store front is open).

Local

We won’t ship or grow beyond our britches. Small town customer service every day!

For the Love of Brewing

We aren’t in this for money. This is a hobby store intended to foster community. We offer book and equipment rentals, access to BrewSmith, and more.

Community

Competitions, how-to’s, online tools, and more. This is our brew community.

Yeast

$4 – $13/pkg

Dry and liquid yeast.

Wyeast, Omega, Fermentis, Lallemand, White Labs, Lalvin, Red Star.

Generally sold by package but we can accommodate.

Yakima Valley Hops.

Typically 2 oz packages. Some popular varieties available in larger sizes.

Also for sale: kits, DME, glass and plastic fermenters, hydrometers, air locks, bungs, nutrients, and more (I say more because I know I am forgetting something). Subscription brew kits coming in the future.

We may be DirtBags but we are flexible. We can specially order anything our suppliers offer. Please email with inquiries. If we don’t have it on hand, we can get product in fairly quickly.

** Wordpress and I are not getting along quite yet. A list of what we sell will get online soon, hopefully. Email us for our pdf spreadsheet.

Payments

In order to stay cost effective and competitive with the big companies, we are hoping to stay ‘cash and carry’ so cash and checks are preferred. If we keep our costs down, we keep your costs down. Should you prefer to pay with a card, convenience charges will apply – any increases to these charges depends on the whim of the commerce company.

We prefer hard cash to keep money in your pockets and away from the billionaires.

Self-Serve, After Hours Store Coming!

Being a hobby store, employees are not in the near future. We will have staffed hours of ~12 hrs/wk but would love to have longer hours staffed by knowledgeable brewer(s). It’s just not financially feasible yet. As such, the store will be available to all DirtBags (registered member) through a pin code lock at the front door. Don’t steal from each other. This is our store and if you steal, you will likely put DirtBag Brewing Supply out of business. Small town atmosphere’s mean doors stay unlocked. We obviously can’t do that, but we can give you access. Stay small town with us!

(some security measures will be in place – you may be recorded while on site)

“Just offering a niche service to the Palouse. I fell in love with brewing a couple years ago and haven’t looked back (or at my new love handles).”
